Manual Osteopathy- The Basics
Manual Osteopathy is a gentle, holistic approach to healthcare that focuses on the relationship between the body’s structure, mobility, and overall function. Osteopathic treatment is based on the understanding that the body has an innate ability to heal and regulate itself when proper balance and alignment are restored.
Using hands-on techniques, treatment aims to reduce strain patterns, improve mobility, support circulation and nervous system regulation, and encourage the body into a deeper state of relaxation and healing. While treatments are often gentle, they are designed to address the underlying dysfunction contributing to pain, tension, fatigue, and imbalance—not just the symptoms themselves.
As your osteopath, my goal is to view the body as a connected whole, recognizing how different systems influence one another in order to support long-term function, resilience, and overall well-being.
Pre and Post Natal Symptomology
Pregnancy and postpartum bring enormous physical and hormonal changes to the body, often creating strain patterns that can contribute to discomfort, tension, fatigue, and feelings of imbalance. My approach to pre and postnatal care is gentle, supportive, and tailored to each stage of motherhood.
